Reorganization of the ON2.4 group - new research areas, technologies and oxide materials

The aim of the seminar will be a presentation of the new research areas, technologies and materials after the reorganization of the ON2.4 group as a result of the transfer of employees from the ON4 division. In particular, two technologies will be presented: Atomic Layer Deposition and the hydrothermal method, which are mainly used for the growth of oxide nanostructures, including ZnO, Al₂O₃, TiO₂, ZrO₂, HfO₂, CuO and various combinations thereof. Works focused on various types of applications will also be presented, such as electrodes based on ZnO nanostructures for photovoltaic cells, bio-functional oxide layers, nanopowders as medical markers (fluorescent for cancer diagnostics and therapy, magnetic resonance markers), CuO layers as electronic memories cells or ZnO nanorods as UV detectors.
